Kizzuna is built to keep your information on your device. Your screen time data never leaves your iPhone, we don't run ad tracking, we don't sell your data, and we don't build profiles about you. Your time is yours.
Screen Time information stays on your device. Kizzuna uses Apple's Screen Time technology (the FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, and DeviceActivity frameworks) to understand your app usage so it can show you your own insights, streaks, and progress. This information is processed entirely on your iPhone. It is not transmitted to us, and it is not shared with any third party.
Sign in with Apple. Authentication is provided by Apple through Sign in with Apple, which lets you have a personal space in the app and choose your kanji mark. Apple may provide Kizzuna with a private identifier for your account. In the current version of Kizzuna, this identifier is stored only on your device and is not sent to any server operated by us.
What Kizzuna stores on your device. Kizzuna keeps your preferences, progress, streaks, and app settings locally on your device so the app can function correctly. This information stays on your iPhone.
No analytics, ads, or tracking. Kizzuna does not include third-party advertising, does not use tracking technologies, and does not embed third-party analytics tools that report your behavior back to us or anyone else.
Kizzuna asks for Screen Time authorization so it can monitor your app usage and give you your personal insights, streaks, and progress. You can grant or revoke this permission at any time in your device's Settings. Without it, the features that rely on your usage data will not function, but the rest of the app remains available.
In the current version of Kizzuna, we do not collect or transmit your personal information to our servers. Your usage information is processed on your device and is not sent to us.
We do not share or sell your information, because we do not receive it.
Kizzuna does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or data brokers. The app relies only on the Apple system frameworks required for its functionality.
Because Kizzuna processes your Screen Time information only on your device and does not receive that information, we do not process that data on our own servers.
Kizzuna is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. Because we do not collect personal data, we do not knowingly collect information from children or anyone else.
We may update this policy as Kizzuna evolves — for example, when features that involve connecting with friends are introduced. When that happens, we will revise this page and the App Store privacy information to accurately describe how data is handled in that version. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version.
